Abstract
The methods of modeling osteoarthritis of large joints in the experiment are described. Based on the literature data, the technological methods of modeling osteoarthritis in laboratory animals were analyzed and summarized. It is shown that the existing experimental models are not universal and, as a rule, reflect one of the links of etiopathogenesis. Practical recommendations are given on the choice of technological methods depending on the research objectives.
